Victoria Belle Mansion and Vintage White Barn in Hogansville has been selected as a 2015 winner in The Knot Best of Weddings, an award representing the highest-rated wedding professionals as reviewed by real couples, their families, and wedding guests on The Knot.

This is the fifth year in a row that Victoria Belle has been selected for The Knot Best of Weddings. In 2015, only 2 percent of the 250,000 wedding professionals listed on TheKnot.com have received the accolade. To determine the honorees, The Knot assessed a sample of almost one million real reviews across the various vendor categoriesvenues, musicians, florists, photographers, caterers and morethat a bride or groom would want in order to inspire, plan and pull off their own unique wedding.

Orchard Hills has new owners

The Meadows Group has purchased Orchard Hills Golf Club in Newnan, and plans extensive renovations to the 278-acre, 27-hole course. The clubhouse will be renovated and the course will be updated.

The seller was Parkstone Capital Partners of Mt. Kisco, New York.

This is a truly unique asset. Not only is Orchard Hills one of the top public golf courses in Georgia, it is easily accessible, said Andy Ulsh of Batson-Cook Realty, which brokered the sale. The Scottish-links style course features bent-grass greens and Bermuda grass fairways. Orchard Hills includes a driving range and putting green, fully equipped pro shop and a full service restaurant.
