I remember the time when we were both drifting on one of those waves.

The flash of your eyes hit me like the sun reflecting off the surface of water.

Nothing mattered in that magical place but us.

Hours spent on the beach when we were staring at the beauty of the setting sun,

filled with conversations, eyes in the eyes and your heavenly smile.

But everything disappeared, in one moment, with a snap of a finger.

Somebody made a better impression on you.

It's a shame you didn't look deep into my soul and see my heart.

Who was ready to give herself completely into your hands and give you all the best.

All the time it's in me, even though you're long gone, in the past.

But today I know that time has healed again and I am ready to take care

of someone who deserves it more than you do.

Maybe not in the form common people do.

It seems to me that I have been called to a higher form of love,

that will never be returned to me.

Not everyone can afford it, but you are aware of how special I am.

And I will do what I should, with a great affection for her and others,

to protect them from the evil of mankind.
