We knew the world would not be the same.
Few people laughed, few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita.
Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty
and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
"Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds".
I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.

Wiedzieliśmy, że świat nie będzie już taki sam.
Parę osób się śmiało, parę osób płakało, większość nic nie mówiła.
Przypomniałem sobie linijkę ze świętej księgi hinduizmu, Bhagavad-Gity.
Wisznu próbuje nakłonić Księcia, by czynił swoją powinność i żeby mu zaimponować przybiera swoją wieloramienną postać i mówi:
"Teraz staję Śmiercią, niszczycielem światów."
Myślę, że wtedy wszyscy tak myśleliśmy, w ten czy w inny sposób.
