Wild Safari in Stourport

The last few days were really amazing and such a lot was happening. But probably the biggest attraction for me was Safari Park in Stourport. I can't believe that two years ago, when I had a chance to go there for the first time, I preferred staying at home. But being a human means making mistakes and learning all the time. I saw and even fed so amazing animals and I was having fun like a little child. But it's my right to behave like that at least for a fortnight...I don't think I'll ever change but now I have something to defend myself with. In the picture you can see me and, if you look carefully, a tiny crocodile. Gruesome. I must congratulate my uncle Pepe, who won a teddy bear for Krzysia. So romantic...and, apart from that, I've never seen anyone winning anything at such place so that rebuilt my belief a little. Maybe next time I'll try that myself...because we're going there once again. The last time we had to skip so many wonderful things due to the park being closed at 6 p,m.. I can't wait to go there again!

On sunday there was a family party and we were celebrating the baptism of Krzysia's goddaughter. I was so much under impression of the polish church... I know perfectly well there are million of us here but still...impressive. And after a ceremony there was a party at out place. I'm really glad I had a chance to meet all the people I had heard about before. And I'm glad everybody liked my carrot cake although it didn't have a carrot flavour at all.

Yesterday was a totally wonderful day too. In the morning, which is a little after midday here, we went with Krzysia to rent a boat. We never did it, because we stopped just to play on machines in our local funfair. I've met a great and totally amazing woman in the probably strangest way ever. I was looking at what I could have for my tickets (not even a chewing gum, I had just about fifty of them), when I saw a women kneeling on the floor next to tha 2p machine and looking oddly at me. So I asked quite loudly why that women was staring at me and Krzysia said she didn't know and that woman started talking in polish! I was so ashamed but that was kind of funny and as I said, the woman was amazing and showed us a machine where we could get many tickets and she gave me many 2p coins (she was taking them from the big 2p machine as she was working there), Now I have 254 tickets and so pretty a pendant which I secretely got. And she even let me and Krzysia use a roundabout for free. We were flying crazily and that was one of the best afternoons I've ever had. Than we had ice cream and visited a preserve which was so tiny but truly worth seeing. And in the evening I watched a film about cheerleaders which I really really really liked and than we had a kid's party with Marcin( Pepe and Krzysia were at work), who was staying for a night. I love my holiday here!!!
